CRUXTEC Warranty Policy

Warranty Terms, Coverage & Claims

Last Updated: June 2026

This Warranty Policy applies to CRUXTEC products purchased in Australia through CRUXTEC authorised resellers or CRUXTEC official sales channels, if applicable.

CRUXTEC products are generally sold to consumers through authorised resellers. If you purchased a CRUXTEC product from a reseller, please contact the original place of purchase first for warranty, replacement, refund or return assistance. The reseller is usually best placed to verify your purchase, review your claim and assist with the appropriate remedy.

CRUXTEC also provides manufacturer warranty support for eligible CRUXTEC products as set out in this policy. This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable laws. Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods.

Warranty Period

CRUXTEC provides a one (1) year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase shown on a valid proof of purchase.

Any replacement product or replacement part provided under this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, unless otherwise required by law.

What This Warranty Covers

During the warranty period, CRUXTEC warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and in accordance with the product’s intended purpose.

If a CRUXTEC product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, the remedy available to you will depend on whether the failure is major or minor.

For a major failure with goods, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement, and you may also be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

For a failure that does not amount to a major failure, CRUXTEC or the authorised reseller will provide a remedy within a reasonable time. This may include repair, replacement or another remedy required by law.

For claims made under CRUXTEC’s voluntary one (1) year limited manufacturer warranty, and where the Australian Consumer Law does not require a specific remedy, CRUXTEC may assess the claim and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may include:

  • repairing the product;
  • replacing the product with the same or an equivalent product;
  • providing a suitable replacement part;
  • providing a refund where required by law; or
  • providing another remedy required by law.

Where a product or part is replaced, the returned product or part becomes the property of CRUXTEC unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you purchased your CRUXTEC product from an authorised reseller, please contact the original place of purchase first. Please provide the reseller with your proof of purchase and details of the issue.

If the reseller is unable to assist, or if you need further product support, you may contact CRUXTEC support. CRUXTEC may assist with technical support, product verification and warranty assessment where appropriate.

To help process your claim, you may be asked to provide:

  • valid proof of purchase;
  • product model or item code;
  • product serial number, if applicable;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photos or videos showing the issue, where reasonably required;
  • your contact details and return address.

CRUXTEC or the authorised reseller may ask you to return the product for inspection, testing or quality verification before a remedy is provided. Please do not return any product without receiving return instructions or approval from CRUXTEC or the relevant authorised reseller.

Valid Proof of Purchase

Acceptable proof of purchase may include:

  • a sales invoice;
  • a dated purchase receipt;
  • an order number from CRUXTEC official sales channels or an authorised CRUXTEC reseller.

CRUXTEC or the authorised reseller may request reasonable additional information to verify the claim, such as payment confirmation, delivery details or reseller information.

Return, Inspection and Shipping Costs

If CRUXTEC or the authorised reseller confirms that the product has a valid manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, CRUXTEC or the authorised reseller will provide a remedy in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

You may be responsible for return shipping, inspection or handling costs where:

  • the product is returned for reasons other than a verified defect;
  • the product is inspected and found to be working normally;
  • the issue is caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification or another exclusion listed in this policy;
  • the product is returned without prior approval or outside the approved return process;
  • the product has been taken outside Australia and international shipping is required.

Where you are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law to recover reasonable expenses associated with a valid claim, CRUXTEC will comply with those obligations.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • products without sufficient proof of purchase;
  • products outside the warranty period, subject to any rights under the Australian Consumer Law;
  • lost or stolen products;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality;
  • damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or improper operation;
  • damage caused by drops, impact, liquid exposure, extreme temperatures, power surge or other external causes;
  • damage caused by use outside the product’s intended purpose or published specifications;
  • damage caused by unauthorised repair, modification, disassembly or tampering;
  • issues caused by third-party devices, software, accessories or compatibility limitations not caused by a CRUXTEC product defect;
  • free gifts, samples or promotional items, unless otherwise required by law;
  • products purchased from unauthorised sellers.

Data and Personal Items

CRUXTEC is not responsible for loss, corruption or recovery of data resulting from the use, testing, repair or replacement of CRUXTEC products, except to the extent required by law.

Before returning any product, please remove all personal items, accessories, storage media and data where possible. CRUXTEC is not responsible for personal items mistakenly sent with a returned product, except to the extent required by law.

Products Purchased from Unauthorised Sellers

This manufacturer warranty applies only to CRUXTEC products purchased through CRUXTEC authorised resellers or CRUXTEC official sales channels, if applicable.

Products purchased from unauthorised sellers may not be covered by this manufacturer warranty. However, this does not limit any rights you may have against the seller or under applicable law.
